Our direction and vision

as Association of Pentecostal Churches in Germany (BFP)

We see ourselves as a church movement structured as a corporation under public law (KdöR). But the structure is only an assist for the implementation of the common direction of the BFP. The following seven points were formulated by the executive board at the beginning of 2013:

SPIRIT LED

The BFP lives its calling as a spiritual movement. Our deepest desire is to preserve and promote in our personal lives and in our churches the energizing work of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the baptism of the Spirit and promote the communication of spiritual experience. We seek the supernatural dimension.

EMPOWER LEADERS

We empower and support pastors and leaders to build healthy churches capable of multiblying themselves. As BFP, we are a church movement - but also a ministry community in which we honor and value one another.

STRENGTHEN CHURCHES

We strengthen and support local churches in their mission to spread the gospel. They are encouraged to do their ministry in dependence and trust in God. We place the preaching of Christ at the center.

CHURCH PLANTING

We are continually planting new churches as it is our goal that in every town and city in Germany there is a church that takes God's Word as a measure and seeks His presence.

MISSION AND EVANGELISM

We promote an evangelistic and missionary attitude on all levels. Peolple in Germany and abroad should hear the good news of Jesus Christ. This spreading of the Gospel is done through word and deed.

TOGETHER

We actively create an environment in which people and churches from a wide variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds can thrive together. We value the structural change in Germany and shape the BFP as a dynamic movement that offers space for vital congregations from very diverse backgrounds regarding culture, language, age structure and style.

OUR HEADQUARTERS

We are developing our headquarters in Erzhausen as a center for education, service, communication media, and competency. By pooling this resources we offer services that support the implementation of the precending goals. To this end, the individual activities of the ministries, institutions and initiatives in the association will be networked and coordinated.
